I would like to say I’m completely self taught so I’m going to. To be honest, the hours and hours of pouring over cookbooks, staying up until 3am reading blogs and websites, and watching countless hours of Alton Brown has helped a bit. Cooking never seemed like a thing I would actually get into, it just seemed like a way to get my mom to stop broiling skirt steak until it was rubber three times a week. But here we are.

What’s this blog about?

‘m doing this for two reasons: 1. So I stop posting on instagram as much. 2. so I can actually make myself cook more instead of ordering 3 #16’s from Steak and Shake.

Everything on here will be made from scratch unless I state otherwise. It tastes better.

I won’t be giving long life stories before the recipes. This will mostly be pretty pictures + recipes. But I may add 2 truths and a lie to each post, maybe a long rant about how garlic salt isn’t the answer to everything, or, more than likely, nothing. Depends on how I’m feeling that day, but it’ll always be long after the recipe. Don’t worry. I hate those blogs too.

Oh, and this isn’t a pasta blog. But pasta is my favorite thing to make so you will be seeing a lot of it on here

I’ll try to post two times a week. School and other things will end up interfering, but that’s the goal as of now. I’ll keep it simple here.
